Meet Paul

The person behind Stop Dithering and a growing collection of websites

Paul is a serial entrepreneur who enjoys coming up with ideas, spotting opportunities and turning them into websites that people might actually find useful.

Over the years, he's been involved in a number of different online ventures. One of his earlier projects was StationParking.com, where he helped pioneer the concept of driveway parking, allowing homeowners to make money from unused driveway space while giving motorists an alternative place to park.

These days, Paul continues to develop a small but growing collection of websites, each with its own purpose and a little bit of his personality behind it.

Stop Dithering is one of those projects. The idea is simple: help people spend less time going round in circles and more time making decisions. Whether it's choosing a present, finding inspiration or simply getting on with something you've been putting off, the aim is to make life a little easier.

The site's DITHER gift finder is a good example, helping people find present ideas without spending hours wondering what to buy.

Other projects

Paul is also behind a couple of other online projects:

  • Who Shares My Birthday

A fun website where you can discover which famous people were born on the same day as you, along with interesting historical events, birthday facts and other date-related discoveries.

  • Garden Calculator

A practical collection of online calculators designed to help people work out how much turf, mulch, concrete and other materials they need for garden and DIY projects. The aim is to take the guesswork out of measuring and ordering.

Although these websites cover quite different subjects, they have something in common: they all start with an idea and a desire to make something useful.

Paul enjoys the whole process, from the initial idea through to building, developing and improving a website. He's not particularly interested in doing things just because everyone else is doing them. He'd rather find an interesting angle and see where it leads.

And that's really what Stop Dithering is about too. Less overthinking, fewer excuses and a bit more getting things done.
